My grandfather, Harold Hale, was my first inspiration. A Korean War gunner, he filled my childhood with stories of distant places and lived experience. He taught me the world was larger than my hometown, planting a lasting sense of curiosity, courage, and adventure that continues to guide my work forward.

My grandfather, James Adkins, served in World War II as a radio operator on Attu Island, Japan. He shared stories of the island and its people, teaching me to imagine faces behind every story. His memories sparked my love for visual storytelling and capturing humanity through images with empathy always.

Bobbie’s love for street photography and dramatic portraiture grew from a deep curiosity about people and the quiet stories they carry. She is drawn to raw moments, expressive faces, and the interplay of light and shadow found in everyday life. Wandering city streets with a camera became a way to observe without interruption, capturing emotion as it exists—unposed, imperfect, and honest.
